The CM-5400 Card Personalization Line captures 1D and 2D barcodes and human readable data (OCR), performs a lookup in a database, and encodes and variable prints corresponding information on CR-80 up to hangtag size cards. 509 Technologies high speed – industrial – magnetic stripe encoding and verification is unparalleled in the industry, producing ISO quality output at the highest rates achievable. The ceramic chromoly encode and read heads have a life cycle up to 20 million cards before requiring replacement.
 
The system features a variety of variable inkjet printing solutions providing flexibility to adhere to the most difficult substrates and optimize ink opacity and adhesion.  509 Technologies DOD-9000 Series Inkjet Print Systems provide a 2.8" print band and 360 DPI print resolution at speeds up to 35,000 cards per hour. 509's HP-8000 Series Inkjet Print Systems incorporate low maintenance HP cartridge technology providing for print bands from 2" to 8" at speeds from 15,000 to 35,000 CR-80 size cards per hour, depending on required print resolution. Other print technologies are available, as well as integrating your existing print technologies on a custom basis.

Hinged pressure wheel assemblies allow easy access to critical component areas facilitating changeovers and periodic maintenance. Standard system configurations measure 256 inches and come equipped with:
